Busride to Bisbee 2001 (01:16)
Kokerei Zollverein, Essen (03:06)
This recording was done with a DAT and a noname microphone to test the acoustic situation in a hudge industrial building in Essen, Germany.
20 - 30 years ago in this space - some floors high - coal was delivered into the Kokerei Zollverein (cocking plant).
What a beautiful reverb! I walked over 3 floors when I did this recording. The recorder was placed in the middle of the Kokerei.
Some month later I did an acoustic test with 8 microphones and a multitrack recorder. More soundfiles soon.

Nasca 2. Flug Start (01:13)
September 9t, my secound flight over the Nasca Lines in Nasca, Peru. A Cesna with 6 seats, one for the pilot and 5 for passengers.
You can hear the engine low, then speed up for take-off.

Ducks recorded at Fort Lowell Park (00:25)
On December 24th 2000 I did this nice recording with my Panasonic videocamera at Fort Lowell Park in Tucson, Arizona.
They wanted some food ... at the end you can hear me saying .."you are so beautiful"...
My videocamera NV-25 is still working and doing a good job with a nice built in microphon.

Russian Orthodox Church, Vilnius 2000 (01:09)
I did this is a recording in Vilnius, Lithuania on February 20th 2000 in Russian Orthodox Church of St. Nikolas.
It was the first time in my life that I was in a Russian Orthodox Church and I was surprised about the warm and subtle athmosphere and the beautiful singing.
Recording: Noname mic. You can hear me opening the door and moving into the church.
I did field-recordings in Vilnius for an exhibition called "Dialog 2: Articulation" at the O.K. Center for Contemporary Art in Linz, Upper Austria. Had a nice place to stay at the CAC, Vilnius. See the picture.

Trieste, Italy - Rec.2: Abulance into the tunnel (00:34)
On December 30th 2006 I did this recording with my Panasonic video-camera in Trieste, Italy.
Location: Standing on Piazza Goldoni
The ambulance came into the Piazza Goldoni and drove into the tunnel of Via Silvio Pellico. The Camara-mic is polar-stereo with built-in compression. But within the high buildings the sound was stunning. I was late switching on the camera and the abulance came very fast!- 0 ratings

The ambulance came out of the tunnel crossing Piazza Goldoni. The Camara-mic is polar-stereo with built-in compression. But within the high buildings the sound was stunning. Missed my nice Soundman-mic.

Sound: Recorded out of the window from Mike Honeycutt's appartment at Patterson St. in Memphis 1999. All the day he had trains passing by.
This rec. was done early in the morning while the city was sleeping.

Wolfgang Fadi Dorninger at Monument Valley
A greatrecording with one mistake: The train came from west with stunning sounding horns and rail-sounds. But, I could not imagine the high level of the train on my recording position.
So I have to live with a heavy distortion on this nice recording. Shame on me!!!
